This Unit is responsible for overseeing the implementation of the County Integrated Development Plan (CIDP), as well as monitoring and evaluating the Flagship projects, among other duties. The Council of Governors has established a productive partnership with the Tony Blair Institute (TBI) for global change, which is in Kilifi County for a two-day assessment and data collection visit to our office. This visit will contribute to the development of a playbook for the future of service delivery. With a specific focus on Prioritization, Policy, Planning, and Performance contracting, the institute aims to establish systems, structures, and capabilities that will enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of service delivery to the people of Kilifi.

I am pleased with the positive outcomes of today’s entry meeting, where the Delivery Unit and all county departments were represented by their respective directors. I am looking forward to further engagement on this matter.
