SAFE is a non-governmental organization established by the former Director of Criminal Investigations, Mr. Musau. The organization is dedicated to the collection, packaging, and presentation of evidence in cases of rape and sodomy.

SAFE implements a comprehensive approach to reporting and managing these cases, with the goal of reducing stigma and ensuring that victims are not mishandled due to a lack of evidence. I wish to convey my heartfelt gratitude to SAFE for selecting Kilifi County as the place to launch this program, which will greatly benefit our community, particularly women and children who are most vulnerable.

Furthermore, Madam Prudence Kai kindly extended an invitation for me to attend the upcoming post-International Widows Day celebrations this Friday. The event aims to celebrate widows and raise awareness about the challenges they face in our society.
