I had the privilege of engaging in a productive meeting with Dr. Chao Tsuma Wanje, the founder of She Stands Kenya, Mr. James Wanje from Grace Around the World, and Dr. Emmanuel Nzai, CEO of Jumuiya za Kaunti ya Pwani (JKP), during their courtesy visit to my office.
She Stands Kenya, guided by the principle of “For Every Woman, Changing the Story,” is a collaborative faith-based initiative between Grace Center Malindi and Jumuiya Economic Development Secretariat. The primary objective of this initiative is to empower and inspire progressive Christian women in Kenya with biblical principles to guide their daily lives and effect change within themselves, their families, and their communities.
During the meeting, Dr. Chao Wanje kindly invited me to attend the official launch of She Stands Kenya and a two-day conference scheduled to take place at Dreams of Africa on the 9th and 10th of August, 2024. This conference will focus on providing training and resources to Coastal Women, equipping them with crucial life and entrepreneurial skills necessary for their sustainable socio-economic development within society.
