I had a productive meeting with Mr. Silas Tsuma, the Chairperson of the Board of Management (BOM) at Kizurini Special School and his delegation during their courtesy visit to my office. The school, located in Kaloleni Sub-county, has a population of 105 pupils and 8 teachers.
We discussed strategies to enhance the school’s key infrastructure, including the implementation of barrier-free facilities such as dormitories, washrooms, a physiotherapy room staffed by specialists, and a sanitarium.
These improvements are crucial in creating a supportive learning environment for the pupils, promoting equal access to education, and ultimately contributing positively to the advancement of the education sector. This aligns with our development focus on enhancing the well-being of the people of Kilifi County.
