This morning, I had the pleasure of meeting with Dr. Eric Katana, the Chief Executive Officer of Bandari Maritime Academy, and his distinguished delegation during their courtesy visit to my office.
Established in 2018, the academy is known for its excellence in skills development for the maritime and blue economy sector. The team is currently in Kilifi County to conduct a road safety sensitization forum for youth riders through a comprehensive road safety curriculum and distribution of safety gear.
We are dedicated to strengthening our partnership with the academy to improve safety awareness campaigns and promote responsible road usage throughout the county. Additionally, I encourage the public to fulfill their civic duty in ensuring road safety.
