Today, we gathered as leaders of the Jumuiya ya Kaunti za Pwani socio-economic bloc to engage in discussions regarding the development plans of our respective counties. With the support of our technical staff and senators, we examined the criteria for allocating revenue among our counties to ensure that it adequately addresses the needs of our constituents and bolsters our development projects in the coastal region.

In attendance were my esteemed colleagues, Governor Abdullswamad Shariff Nassir of Mombasa and Governor Andrew Mwadime of Taita Taveta, along with Senators Mwinyihaji Faki (Mombasa), Danson Mungatana (Tana River), Jones Mwaruma (Taita Taveta), Issa Juma Boy (Kwale), and Joseph Githuku (Lamu).
