During my visit to Marafa Level IV hospital with the Rt. Hon. Raila Odinga in January 2024, I assured the residents that my administration would upgrade the road leading to the hospital to a cabro standard. I am pleased to announce that our chief officer for roads, Philip Charo, along with county engineers, have inspected the road and it is now 90% completed, with the hospital section already in use. We have also installed cabros within the hospital premises. This road is crucial as it connects Marafa Secondary and Primary Schools, Marafa Level IV Subcounty Hospital, the Marafa Deputy County Commissioner’s Office, and Hell’s Kitchen.
