The revitalization of the cashewnut industry is an integral component of our progressive agenda. Today, accompanied by my Deputy, Hon. Flora Mbetsa Chibule, I have officiated the commencement of the cashewnut agroforestry tree planting initiative in Dabaso.
This initiative, funded by Export Trading Group (ETG) Climate Solutions and carried out in collaboration with the county government of Kilifi, aims to distribute a total of 500,000 cashewnut and 500,000 moringa seedlings free of charge to 12,500 farmers within the 5 wards of Dabaso, Ganda, Watamu, Tezo, and Kakuyuni.
