Together with my Deputy, Flora Mbetsa Chibule, we received the suggested County Government framework from the Kilifi County Public Service Board (CPSB), in line with the principles of governance outlined in Articles 10 and 232 of the Constitution, Act of 2017.
Under the leadership of Chairperson Mr. Albert Mturi, the Service Board has been working diligently since January 2024 to design a new government structure that defines key leadership roles and reorganizes essential services for optimal performance.
I am pleased to announce that Kilifi now has an approved structure that prioritizes community and employee needs, streamlining our work processes and enhancing coordination in budgeting and planning, ultimately improving our responsiveness to the people of Kilifi.
I strongly believe that these initiatives will address issues of inequality, and I am dedicated to ensuring that every Ward within our County, all 35 of them, have equal opportunities for recruitment in government positions, as my administration is committed to reflecting the diversity of Kilifi and Kenya as a whole.
