This tournament is being held simultaneously in four separate counties within Kenya, with German Embassy Nairobi overseeing activities in Kilifi County and other European nations taking charge in the remaining three counties.

As a result, the German ambassador to Kenya, H.E Sebastian Groth, paid me a courtesy visit to provide updates on their preparations and engage in discussions on various important matters pertaining to our bilateral relationship with Germany. The victorious male and female teams from Kilifi County will have the opportunity to compete against the winners from the other three counties at Ulinzi Stadium.

The overall champions will then receive a two-week elite training program in Romania, under the guidance of a specialized coach from the Czech Republic.

I extend my gratitude to the EU, particularly to Germany, for this commendable initiative. It is my belief that this endeavor will instill a sense of determination and motivation in our young athletes, enabling them to explore their talents to the fullest.
