We are pleased to acknowledge the outstanding performance of Antonina Kadzo, Sandra Akei, and Loice Wangeci, three talented volleyball players from Malindi who represented Kenya at the recently concluded East Africa School Games in Uganda from 19th to 24th August 2024. Alongside Julius Kahindi, who also hails from Malindi and represented the Boy’s team, these athletes played a crucial role in Kenya’s success at the games.
Kenya emerged victorious in the tournament, defeating teams from Uganda, Tanzania, Burundi, and Rwanda to claim the title. Our department takes pride in nurturing and training these players in our Malindi center, and their impressive performances on the international stage highlight our commitment to identifying, recruiting, training, recognizing, and rewarding young talent.
