In the presence of H.E President William Samoei Ruto at State House, Nairobi, along with fellow Governors, Members of Parliament, and county assembly leaders from all coastal counties, it was mutually agreed to establish a committee of experts in collaboration with leaders from Embu to address matters pertaining to Miraa and Muguka, aimed at safeguarding the interests of all involved parties.
Conversely, a unified stance was taken by the coastal leaders, delivering a resounding message on behalf of the people stating, “The coastal region opposes the presence of Muguka within our boundaries.”
