I had the opportunity to visit Jilore Secondary School in Jilore ward, Malindi Sub-county for a mentorship session with the students, accompanied by officials of the Kilifi County Comrades Association (KCCA) and the school management.
During the session today, I had the opportunity to engage with the student body on a range of topics, such as spirituality, drug and substance abuse, personal discipline, mental health, goal achievement, personality development, and career success.
The personalized mentorship program tailored to the students’ needs aimed to impart knowledge and confidence, emphasizing the significance of mentors and role models in their personal growth. We believe that the connections established in these programs are enduring and will lead to lifelong success for the students.
As a government, we are committed to supporting the school in infrastructural development, specifically in the construction of a computer laboratory, multi-purpose hall, a modernized dormitory, and a school fence. This aligns with our goal of enhancing educational facilities in Kilifi to provide students with world-class services.
